Today is sunny and mild, not a cloud in the sky -- a beautiful fall day. :D Last night it drizzled off and on.
I haven't fed the birds yet. I've seen a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, a goldfinch, and a male downy woodpecker.
I started planting milkweed seeds in the prairie garden, working from the west part of the path. This way if they sprout and go to seed next year, prevailing winds will carry the seeds over the rest of the prairie garden.
EDIT 11/19/24 -- I planted more milkweed in the prairie garden.
EDIT 11/19/24 -- I fed the birds.
I put out water for the birds and watered a few plants.
EDIT 11/19/24 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.
EDIT 11/19/24 -- I planted blanketflowers and more milkweeds in the prairie garden.
As the sun has set, I am done for the night.
