Birdfeeding: Friends of a Feather Flock Together

Today is mostly sunny and mild, a beautiful fall day.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a flock of sparrows at the hopper feeder.

I put out water for the birds and watered a few plants.

EDIT 11/5/23 -- I started planting the Enchanted Evening Tulip Mixture in the purple-and-white garden.

EDIT 11/5/23 -- I finished planting the tulips.  This concludes the Breck's order and the purchased bulbs for this season.  \o/

EDIT 11/5/23 -- I started digging in the daffodil bed.  Last time I dug in there, it had lots of small daffodil bulbs close to the surface.  Today I'm not finding any, although I did turn up one big double bulb that I divided.

EDIT 11/5/23 -- I did more digging in the daffodil bed.  This time I turned up a few doubles and one big clump.  I planted the extras in the wagonwheel garden.

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
