birdfeedingToday is cloudy and cool.
I fed the birds. I've seen a flock of sparrows at the hopper feeder and a male downy woodpecker at the suet cage. While walking around the yard, I spotted a male cardinal and heard a woodpecker drumming overhead.
I saw the first crocus peeking up in the rain garden, so I looked for other spring bulbs. A few things are coming up under the old bee tree just beyond the barrel garden. Daffodils are sprouting in the daffodil garden.
